our children's classes
Crossroads Kids is committed to providing children with gospel-centered teaching. We do this using the Gospel Project curriculum through Lifeway. We want our children to know that the Bible is not a self-help book; it reveals Christ.
Each lesson walks children through the Bible, with a focus on how each story points to Christ. In addition to a weekly Bible story, we reinforce the themes from the lesson through a variety of activities, including crafts, songs, and games. We review memory verses, pray for global church-planting partners, and strive to know and care for each child.
Nursery
birth - 12 months
In the nursery, we introduce the youngest members of our church family to the love of Jesus through age-appropriate care and simple gospel truths. Using The Gospel Project’s framework, the peaceful, loving environment of our nursery surrounds infants with songs, stories, and prayers that point to Jesus as the center of God’s story.
Our goal with nursery care is to foster in our littlest ones a sense of the love, peace and safety found in Jesus.
Toddlers
ages 1-3
Our Toddlers class offers a safe, loving space where little ones begin to experience God’s love through age-appropriate activities.
Using The Gospel Project curriculum, each week includes a simplified version of the Preschool Bible Story, engaging, truth filled books, fun worship songs, and guided play designed just for ages 1–3. It’s a place where children begin to learn who Jesus is and how much He loves them.
Pre-K/K
ages 4-6
In our PreK/K class, four to six year olds discover big truths through fun, hands-on learning!
Each week, our children experience the love of Jesus with Christ-centered, age-appropriate Bible lessons from The Gospel Project curriculum.
We sing songs, create crafts, color, and enjoy engaging activities that help kids move, play, and connect with the lesson. Following the storyline of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation, our class helps young hearts understand God’s big plan.
It’s a joyful, gospel-centered environment where faith begins to grow!

ages 6-12
Our 612 Class is designed specifically for kids ages 6 to 12, helping them grow in their faith through engaging, gospel-centered teaching. Using The Gospel Project curriculum, we journey through the Bible chronologically—from Genesis to Revelation—showing how every story points to Jesus and God’s plan for redemption.
Each week, kids experience Christ-centered, age-appropriate Bible study that encourages true heart transformation—not just behavior change. With interactive lessons, group discussion, and practical life application, kids are challenged to live out the gospel and share it with others.
It’s a theologically rich, missionally minded, and fun environment where kids can build a strong, lasting foundation of faith.
CR teens
7th-12th grade
At CR Teens, we’re all about doing life together as we dive deep into the transformative power of God’s Word. Our teen group at Crossroads Church is a vibrant community where students grow in faith, connect through authentic relationships, and actively participate in the life of our church. Grounded in the gospel, we explore Scripture from Genesis to Revelation, discovering how every story points to Jesus and calls us to live out His love. With engaging, age-aware discussions and a focus on real spiritual growth, CR Teens equips young people to mature in their faith, share the good news, and impact the world around them.
safety & security
At Crossroads, we take the protection of our children very seriously.
Volunteer Screening and Training
All volunteers who work with our children have been rigorously background checked, and completed an extensive interview and screening process. Volunteers are trained in abuse prevention, and two volunteers are present in every class at all times.
Classroom Security
We have a meticulous check-in and check-out process for our children to prevent any unauthorized pickups. Only screened and vetted volunteers are permitted in our childcare spaces. (Parents have full access to their children at all times, of course.)
General Security
Outside access to the children's program areas of the church is securely locked during gatherings. Our security team, led by church members with law enforcement backgrounds, discreetly patrols all areas of Crossroads property throughout gatherings for the protection of all attendees.
