Crossroads Fairmont
started through the prayers of a handful of older saints at First Southern Baptist Church. In humble faith, they offered the use of their building to Jesus for His continued mission in Fairmont. From there, the vision for Crossroads Fairmont was born. Crossroads Fairmont officially launched as a distinct Crossroads Church on Easter of 2024. Strengthened by its shared Crossroads identity, it is driven by a unique vision to apply this identity in its specific context to advance the Mission of Jesus in Fairmont.

2. What can I expect during a typical Sunday gathering?
Our Sunday gatherings focus on preaching and response, centered around the Bible. We typically preach through books of the Bible, aiming to learn and apply God’s Word to our lives. After the sermon, our band leads in music, blending traditional hymns and original songs, all centered on Jesus Christ. There’s no assigned seating, so sit wherever you like!
3. Is there a dress code?
No dress code! At a typical gathering you'll see everything from jeans and steel-toed boots fresh off the jobsite, to activewear, to skirts and suits. We're here to worship Jesus together; wear what makes you feel comfortable.
4. Where should I park?
There is plenty of parking in the paved lot right beside the church. Additional parking in the grass in front of the church is available as well. (Be aware to not park there in wet conditions if you do not have an AWD vehicle.)
5. What programs are available for children and teens?
For families, we have two kids classes. We have our Crossroads Tots class (nursery & pre-k) and a Crossroads Kids (K-6). These are available each Sunday. Before the sermon, we have a dedicated time to bring the kids up front for their own teaching. This is a simple question and answer about God which is expanded on in the classrooms if you choose to have your kid(s) there during the sermon. Kids are always welcome to stay in the main auditorium with you, too!
6. how can i connect with the community life at crossroads?
The heartbeat of Crossroads is in our Community Groups. Deep friendships, connection, discipleship and more all grow from participation in community groups. We meet regularly for meals, sermon discussions, and discipleship in homes throughout the area. Find your community group HERE.

Our Sunday Gathering is centered around hearing from Jesus in the Scriptures, Responding to Jesus in Repentance & Faith, Being Strengthened by Jesus at The Supper, and Being Sent with Jesus on His Mission.
